We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Professional to join an established team in supplier quality. The role is operationally heavy and entails overall responsibility for driving deviations and improvement work with international suppliers. You will be a key person in the interface between internal functions and suppliers, focusing on ensuring quality, eliminating root causes, and creating long-term stable deliveries.

Focus of this assignment: The role primarily focuses on supplier quality and operational deviation management. You will drive deviations through the entire process (register–analyze–correct–implement/monitor), ensure quality in RCA, and actively work with improvement and supplier development.

An important part of the job will be to create and maintain internal contacts with other parts of the department and the company to ensure the right operational conditions and high customer satisfaction among internal customers.

The assignment can also be combined with a more strategic role as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). As an SQE, you will work together with strategic purchasing on the qualification of suppliers and products. The team consists of about 20 people, including both SQA and SQE roles.

Your tasks

In the role of Supplier Quality Assurance Professional, you will, for specific purchasing areas and suppliers:

Coordinate and drive activities to ensure that the right action is taken at the right time through the various phases of the deviation report.

Ensure that suppliers conduct correct root cause analyses (RCA) and that implemented actions prevent recurrence.

Actively analyze statistics related to supplier-caused quality deficiencies to verify and validate actions taken and detect any recurring deviations.

Prepare documentation and statistics for recurring meetings such as Supplier Performance Review, NCC Q-gate, and supplier meetings.

Actively contribute to continuous improvements by developing processes and driving process and supplier development within your area of responsibility.

Since suppliers are a natural extension of the business, you, as a coordinator, will be the spider in the web internally as well as between the business and each supplier. You will ensure the right driving and documentation through the phases of the deviation:

Register

Analyze

Correct

Implement and monitor

As a coordinator, you will also ensure that the right cost basis exists for any claims against suppliers.

Expected deliveries

Clear, effective, and traceable driving of deviations from start to finish.

Quality-assured RCAs and followed-up corrective actions that have a lasting effect.

Ongoing trend and root cause analysis related to supplier-caused quality deficiencies.

Well-structured reports and decision-making materials for internal and external quality forums.

Implemented improvement efforts in process and supplier development.

Your profile

A few years of work experience in production, business development, purchasing, quality, or related fields.

Experience working systematically with deviation management, follow-up, and quality processes.

Strong analytical skills and interest in statistics and root cause analysis.

Understanding of how different functions within a company interact and how collaboration can be strengthened.

Very good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
